Bangalore...

Hi ( if anybody reads this... ),
This time I will share what makes Bangalore so unique to me...
Its been three years here and this is what I got for you...

1) Traffic :-
This first as just a few minutes back I witnessed an accident...an overturned auto...
Just in front of me...
The auto hit a bike and then rolled over to its side.
The biker also fell, and when he stood up was shouting all his anger to the auto driver, can't you see and some other things in Kannada..
Me joined the crowd to resque with my pillion friend.
When the auto was upright everybody almost delighted to find a girl inside !!! and then was scanning her for any damage ( only damage, though she was very cute and you know... )
And when she rub her head a thousand hands came forward to help her ( not sure of my hand ).
But her boyfriend managed to do it himself...
And in that all magic moments the auto guy disappeared !!!

2) The Traffic Police...

Last week I was stopped by a traffic police near the Ayyappa temple.
It was almost started to rain and I was rushing.
Though I told I have all the papers, he insisted to check them.
Then I spot a car crossing a red light and told the police man to catch him...
You know what he said.. 'it always happen in Bangalore....'

3) Indian Coffee House

This is a place where I have my lunch.
And it is different from other coffee spots...
The crowd is different, the coffee itself is different and its like a local tea stall on footpath and an intellectual meeting place at once...
This is a coffee place where you hear people discussing about falling sensex rather than falling neckline.
It is a different place to be.
Check it at the MG road.

4) do it in next post... :)

Good Bye my friend....

Have you ever told somebody 'yaar, I know what you are going through, I understand your pain...' I think that is the silliest thing you can say... Nobody can understand somebody else's feeling, we only think what we might think, but the way they think...never... So that becomes the most meaningless words to say when we see somebody we care for in trouble...

All these thoughts came to me when I went to my friend's home last week. Normally when I go there his achan will receive me with the warmest of smile, amma will get some tea or lime juice and if his brother is there he will greet me with his trademark question about my (...). But that day things were totally opposite... He was the living doll kind of state, his father put a hand around me and told me he feels like being seperated from our 'gang', his mother totally blank and void... and his brother.... he was missing... and that was the reason why their world turned upside down...

I expected this when I went there, but never was prepared for that. When his brother told me what he is missing, achan about all the things like a friend and when I hold the hand of amma, what she told me without speaking a word... How can I ever imagine I understand their pain... what they are goign through...

All these for being a good guy, a good citizen. He was riding his bike and when the signal turned red he stopped, but the bus following him didn't.. He and his pillion friend paid for the bus driver's negligence....

When I watch a movie that he may like, listen to the songs that he used to keep as caller tunes, or see his name in my orkut friend's list, if I miss a moment, then what will be his family going through... I surely can't understnad what you guys missed... but sure he may not like you going like this.. He is smiling from above and may be teasing you for it ( you know how he will react ).... And Sajeev, may your soul rest in peace... we all miss you...
